Having a good amount of groaning and clunking from the front of my 99 GP GT. Is it worth the hassle of pressing new bushings and ball joints into existing control arms or just order new ones that have all new bushings and ball joints?

Is this install anything I should be too worried about? Done the same job on trucks and such before so I'm not really afraid of it.

just slap new lca's on there, they are 40 bucks a side on line, rock auto, or parts geek.

that ball joint alone is not worth the hassle.

    this....

Way easier to replace the whole thing, that it is pissing aorund with balljoints, and pressing out old bushings.

Aim for the impala police package LCAs. They have stiffer bushings. Dorman makes them too along with other brands. I'll see if I can find a part number

Here's the impala police package part numbers for dorman LCAs

    Left 521029

    Right 521030

They will fit and look exactly the same as OE ones but have a stronger ball joint and stiffer bushings
