Let me weigh in on the torque of axle nuts etc. I know there is a spec and many believe it leads to failure. I haven't been able to prove that out though. I run Moog bearings up front, SKF's in the back and something that stands true on these W bodies and the 00+ H bodies is that wheel bearings are constantly a problem. Guys that torque them properly have an issue, guys like me that zap them with a gun and never look back have issues and neither method seem to wear faster consistently.
I zap and go.. never been an issue.
