Thread: Spherical bearing upper mounts

Atm I'm running 10" 450 up front, 12" 350 in the rear. I was planning on switching out the fronts for a 350-400 and figured I can just reuse the springs for the rear and that's one less thing I have to buy. A 12" should work out fine for the front and I can get rid of the helpers up front too. I'll probably go with a 275-300 12" in the rear.

I ran 400 front and 350 rear with my coils. 12" springs.

There was some talk on the original DIY coilover thread on CGP that 12" springs in the front can bow in and make contact with the strut. I went with 10" springs way back when because of this.

I would say that's true. My sleeves had rub marks from the springs.

here's a better one. plates/cups should be welded up here shortly for one set other than the TR's

red with the blue hardware just screams "made in the usa"

you buying the cups and bearings and welding them yerself? I bought hardware in bulk so that's covered
