I saw some talk about going from 04' to 97-03 suspension would give more options for springs and such. I am looking to do my struts/shocks soon and wanted to know what all parts I would need to do the conversion and what the benefits are?

Lower control arms that have the sway bar tab. And a new sway bar.
I actually bought 2006 LCAs that had the tab and the Dorman 33mm sway bar.
EDIT: Dorman 520165 and 520166 for the LCAs
Did you use this one for the sway bar?
Dorman OE Solutions 927-100 Replacement Sway Bar
Does it mount into the factory holes in the frame for the 04?
Also was the only reason you did it to find quick struts to use or is there another benefit? Because Monroe makes a quick strut for the front now.
Yes that is the sway bar I have. It bolts into the same location as the original but comes with new bigger bushings and endlinks.
I actually bought Comp-G struts as replacements, but I needed a new ball joint and it was easier to just get new LCAs so I figured I would get ones that would allow me to run a bigger sway.
