Hey guys, well i am the next with a brake squeal problem... i tried searching but came up with nothing...

    breakdown,
as i apply brakes i get a loud squeal as if the pads/rotors are shot.

So what do i do, like everyone...

NEW rotors, NEW guide rails (the thing that attaches to the calipers and hold the pads in), and NEW Wagner Thermoquiet Pads (i was told that these DO NOT require anti-squeal grease stuff on the backs of the pads, and that the manufacturer actually suggests against is because of how the back of the pads is made - its made with a separate material that is on the back of the pad to stop the squeal so you don't have to use grease stuff?)

So, like i said, I installed all new rotors, guide clips, and pads and it is still squealing like a stuck pig.

    any help?

i was going to but i was told the manufacturer suggests against it due to the "technology" that is used on the backing of the pads...

the technology does not work .. thats why i never buy pads with that on the back .. its a gimmick lol. i have even seen them come off and get bound up in the caliper really making a mess. pull off your pads and spray them with the anti squeal spray i am pretty are that you will be happy you did.

My Duralast Cmax pads were making some noise. They came with new clips as well. I took them off and put the old ones back on: No more Squeek. They seemed like they fit inside of the new ones to tight when I got to checking, maybe that was it, I dont know. Maybe when I took them off and put them back on something changed and it may have not had anything to do with the clips. But, the stockers had a little less hold on them, so.......
