Hi there, not sure if I will get any of the info I am seeking, but it's worth a shot. I have a question regarding my 97' Park Ave Ultra. I have been looking for any kind of information in regards to what brakes I can swap over from a better trim level/chassis type. If I am understanding correctly, Bonneville GXP brakes should possibly swap over, and if all goes well, I should be picking up a set of those calipers soon to test fit. I currently have 17" twisted Comp G wheels on the car to clear larger breaks. I was wondering if CTS-V brakes would fit by chance, or if anyone could offer any kind of insight into this. Such as, what can all interchange over like calipers, brackets, etc....for the front and rear brakes. Coilovers will be another fun project in the future, but lets not get too far ahead. Me and a handful of guys are pretty much in the dark on this platform. Drivetrain information is plentiful, of course, everything else.....not so much. Thanks much.

Bonneville GXP brakes will swap right over. The question is if you will need to switch to bonneville gxp brake hoses or are they the same length as the park avenues? The cts-v calipers will work but you will need sleeves for the holes in the knuckle that the caliper bolts on and some washers for spacing. Also you will need 18 inch rims of a very specific offset. For gxp brakes your 17 inch rims will be fine.

Sorry...just checking in again for the day. I just sent a PM to Olds, as I didn't get notification of my replies on my post. Technology at its best. Lol. The Bonneville GXP brakes are paid for, and should be shipped tomorrow. CTS-V brakes I will buy soon, now that I know they fit. The hoses come with the GXP calipers, although one needs to be replaced. I am curious as to the sleeves required for the CTS-V brakes, and what that all entails. Also, what would my options be for the rear disc brakes as far as upgrades? As states, I am currently on 17" wheels. Might switch over to 18" wheels soon if I find a good pair. thanks for the help Guys.
