    2005 GP GT 123k Miles

    Soooo I work off a dirt road that has horrible bumps and I mean HORRIBLE.. I have bottomed out several time's while going to work and I know my suspension shot! I hear clunking every time I hit a bump, my steering kinda wobble's now and my struts squeak when I hit a decent bump... I try my best to avoid them or go really slow but the road is just sooo bad... My plan is to replace most of the front and just let my gf drive the car until road isn't to bad and i'll drive the truck.

    So far what I have "waiting till it's warm out" Moog Inner & Outer Tie Rod's, Stabilizer Bar link's, Bushing's but I was unsure about the what front struts to go with. I want to buy complete front's and I know you can't buy them pre-assembled which suck's.

    From what I know that a whole front strut consists of...

    Strut
    Strut Below
    Strut Mount
    Coil Spring

    Anything else I need let me know! Reason why I want all new is because these are not going in right away, I just want to pre-assembled until it's warmer out and do the whole front. I wanted to go KYB but on rockauto it does'n't show KYB coil springs or front strut mount which has me a little confused. Can you mix and match everything or no? I had in mind if you can mix & match... KYB Strut, MOOG Coil Spring's, Monroe Strut Mount, KYB Strut below, or if you guy's have any other better idea's on the best setup.

    Last question, what else should I check/replace that I haven't said on this thread!

    THANK"S =D

    I would just use the AC Delco ready struts if I was going to go stock.

    O yea front sway bar. Well the rears from any 97+ w-body should work just fine, right? I would still get AC Delco struts and mounts for the front.

    I just replaced everything in my front suspension, I went with kyb complete front struts. Can't say anything about them as I've only gone around the block so far since I just did it all today. Make sure your ball joints aren't loose, they should be replaced by that mileage.

    I dont think so but not competently sure

    I also meant to say is that you "Can't" get the front struts pre-assembled from 2004-08 but the rear's you can.. Front's you gotta buy parts and assemble it yourself or take it to a shop which I'M NOT DOING! lol

    I wanna go KYB's but rock auto doesnt have all the KYB parts to assemble it myself =/
