Don Rome brackets plus GM bars used to be the way to go. Dunno if he still makes brackets though.

I have zzp front & rear & think they are definitely worth the money. I've read that the best stbs use all 3 bolts for each tower, but I often remove mine to make room for tinkering, & the 2 bolt design means I don't have to remove all 3 strut top bolts, worry about the alignment. But, I may get a front stb from arrautmotorsports because its adjustable and I'd like to get my 2.5* camber down to 2*.

Your stb does not affect alignment whatso ever. And get Zzp ones don't bother with gmps as they were never engineered to bolt to an aluminum bracket and then the strut tower.

Anytime you remove ALL of the strut tower top plate bolts you risk changing your alignment. My zzp, & the gm, stb does not affect alignment what so ever. The purpose of the design of the adjustable stb is to pull in or push out the strut top plate, which affects alignment.

What? no your holes in your strut tower arent slotted to begin with STB's are adjustable to push out not pull in on the strut tower by bolting onto the strut mount. If you had custom camber plates i could see your point but wbody arent adjustable from the top unless you were to slot them youreself.

Bio, his site is still up but for some reason I am remembering he no longer worked in the machine shop he was at, and wasn't making them anymore. I could be completely wrong though.

I just ordered a pair of the front brackets from him. I received mine. So he may have left over product or is still making them.

I've had ZZP and now have BMR. Only reason I changed was because the BMR are thicker and got them used for basically the same price as the ZZP bars. But between the 2 there's not much difference at all.

The difference between the GMPP with Don's brackets and the 3 bolt ones, like from ZZP, isn't nearly worth the added cost IMO. These cars are boats, the biggest handling improvements you'll get are from lowering with some quality gas charged struts (Bilsteins are great) and matched springs, and good, grippy tires.

Why would you want to push in or out the strut towers? I did my BMR and didn't get an alignment after. I doubt they moved at all since the car was on the ground.

Nah you'd have to either custom make one or use the don Rome brackets plus gm stb
