yeah i know it i'm getting out of hand with the appearance mods lol.

well i finally got the rotors and getting ready to install very soon. i was wondering if i should keep the caliper brackets black like in the pic or paint them silver? the wheels are already black, but not sure if i have too much black color. i kinda like it black myself, but want to get second opinion from you guys.

i thought painting the calipers silver too, but i like the engraved corvette letters on the caliper. i think i'm going to keep the caliper black the way it is and use a dremel to polish up the engraved corvette letters and maybe paint the brackets silver. thanks for your input!

Yes polish up the Corvette letters and then polish the brackets too!!! That would look really bad ass imo, especially with those rims you have.

you cant polish the brackets , they are steel if im not mistaken so they would need to be painted. there is a small place on elston north of foster that does powder coating pretty cheap if you want to go that route , he did some tail light buckets for my 59 chevy in silver chrome and it came out really nice.

IIRC the F-body's are polishable and the stock ones are not.

thanks for the compliments. as far as polishing the bracket i don't think i'm going that route. polishing is alot of work and i don't really have time for it. i'm not really much into chrome. little bit of chrome is good enuff for me. should see my engine bay it's mostly painted black. 59chevy, this shop you talking about is it next to a car wash right before foster?

yeah thats the place , on the south side of elston. i think he also does grapics or something. i was actually taking my stuff one place to get it done just to find out they were taking it over there. if i would have known i would have just taken it there myself. came out really nice , the silver chrime is not chrome lookin , its more like the color of your car actually.

i took the calipers there friday. it was the last minute decision on the color i want. was thinking of red, but the stock caliper on my car now are red plus everybody else probably have red too. i like black, but my wheels are black and probably not a good color choice. i pick galaxy silver for the calipers, gloss black brackets, and polish corvette engrave letters. they should be done next week.

Black brackets, silver calipers. If both were silver it's too much silver, and if you just do the bracket it looks ghey.

i can't wait either. i change my mind on the silver color. i went with all black including the bracket. the corvette letters will be polish up. he was busy last week and didn't get a chance to do mine. have to check back with him tomorrow.
