Does the end link come apart? i was replacing the sway bar and the end link bolt broke. i have a spare gtp in the yard. i would like to get a end link off of it. I attempted to remove the end link but its like that plasic piece is fixed on the link bolt.
So can i snitch a end link off the parts car or do i need to buy a new one?

end links almost never come back apart, the nut rusts to the bolt and they always snap.

new replacements are cheap, just pick up a set, 20 bucks local iirc.

or order up a new dorman solid sway bar, it comes with all new end links and bushings and caps.

Like he said, get yourself some new links, and make sure the sway bar itself isn't cracked. If so a dorman bar isn't a bad idea, it comes with everything, but get moog end links. They're actually $5.49 a piece at my local advance auto parts.

Just be clever with getting the old ones off, the plastic piece is not part of the bolt, but the rust expands and kinda fuses it to it. On mine I held the plastic spacer with vice grips, and used the impact on the nut and melted it off lol. If you want to be quick and have the tools handy, you can just cut them off.
