I had my rear brakes apart today and I was doing seasonl servicing of the caliper pins. On the rear there are pins with bushings on them, when I pulled one of them the bushing stayed inside the bracket. Is there a way to extract the bushing from the bracket?

Also is there an easy way to test if the pins are working properly?

    Thanks,

    Tony

I don't want to try drilling it out because I think it'll just spin around in there.

I used a small screw driver to pull them out. I of course replaced mine though...

A scribe with a hook pick will work good. If you happen to have one.Not really a way to check if the pins are working. Just grease them up real good so that they slide easily on the bracket.
