Brake pedal hit the floor last night. I just bled the system a month ago.
There's a hiss behind the dash.
E-brake, ABS , and TRAC lights are on.
Scanned the computer last night. No codes.
I never touched the braking system during the engine teardown, but maybe I knocked something loose? Hoses are connected behind the manifold and at the booster. (new intake, nozzle, everything)
PS. Why do they make that vacuum nozzle on the back of the upper intake so damn flimsy?!? Old and new ones suck.

Maybe the booster died and thats the sound your hearing.
I'd check for brake line leaks and if th master cylinder is out of fluid.

I do hear a leak somewhere around the TB/LIM/ABS/CROSSOVER area.
Haven't pinpointed it yet.
All gaskets are new.

My ABS was clicking like crazy like two weeks ago when I got power back to the engine, even when the engine was off, key pulled.
Turned out to be a loose ground (under the fuse relay).

Idk if this helps but I pulled it last night ex post facto.
Strange it says I was moving and the throttle was open, but I was parked in my driveway.
Freeze frame information:

Skip the codes and scan data when it comes to brakes.
Look in the master cylinder, if it's empty that explains a lot of lights. The warning lights, as they are called....you get the idea. If the master is empty or low, look under the car please. Where is the puddle located? No puddle...well it's time to fill that puppy up and pump 5-10 times. You'll see a puddle quickly. Repair the line where it's broken.

Master cylinder is almost empty. It was full since I got it, and up until a week ago...
I don't see any puddles.
Bad. Now what'd I break?!?
But would that explain the hiss?
I grabbed new crush washers. Cylinder cap. Gasket.

Filled the reservoir up and the light went away.
Car sat for a few hours and still looked good.
Pumped the brakes up and it came back... Along with a garage floor full of brake fluid in front of the driver seat.
Reservoir is dry. Under the ABS seems dry. Idk. Dumping fluid from somewhere when pressurized.

Seems like you've located the leak, now all you need to do is look up and see what's leaking. Likely it's one of the two rear brake lines that runs right back... or the one that runs over the exhaust tunnel.
When you choose to look for it.. you'll find it. Cause..it's soaking wet and dripping at the moment.

Found it. I think.
I believe that little black hose is disconnected from something?
Brakes take pressure when the car is off, but sprays, dumps, and leaks out until pressure is gone.
When the car is running, the pedal instantly hits the floor.

Evap line .. goes to back of engine.
I can't tell which one of those barnacle covered lines is the leaker. You might need to brake clean that area and pump once to see where the leak is.
Do you know why it's easier to put the pedal to the floor when it's running? Power brakes!

Found what? If it's a line, it's time to inspect the rest of it and decide what route you want to go as far as a replacement. Could just replace the bad section if there is only 1 bad section, or buy a 25' roll and do the whole line. OEM style line is cheap, $14 for 25'. You could get PVF(better coated and protected from salt) for like $18 or go full out and get NiCopp(best protected from any type of failure) for like $30. Considering the oem line lasted this long, oem style will last the same amount of years so it depends on how long you think it will be on the road.

There's a hole in the 4th line up, past the bend.
I'll probably just get a Craigslist mechanic to do it. I'm not messing with the tight quarters.

Brake line fixed. It was the front right line, as you could guess from the pic. ABS, TRAC, and E lights are off.
