I've had to replace both of my CV Axles over the years. I was wondering if anyone knows of good/better brands that would last longer. I keep having the problem of the cv boot failing and grease slinging up everywhere. It seems to happen with the inner cv boot when it only has 3 ridges/bellows on it. Does anyone know of a brand that has 5 or more bellows on both the inside and outside of the axle? Otherwise I'll just get the warranty replacement and stick with the ones I have. I have looked at the ZZP Axles and they only cost about $50 more for the pair but it seems their axles only have 3 bellows on the inside and outside. Atleast the ones I own now have 5 bellows on the outside and 3 on the inside. Thanks for the help!!

I bought the napa ones today. Outside boot has 5 ribs and inside has 3 ribs but hopefully they will do better than the ones I have now that keep failing. A lifetime warranty on something that breaks often and needs to be installed by a mechanic isn't worth it. Though the new ones are lifetime warranty as well, i hope they will work better.

I hope those work for you. I run napa axles as well and haven't had any issues with them. I've also ran stock used axles from Morad with good luck.

I got the other axle in the other day and the outside had 5 ribs and inside had 4 ribs which tells me that they hopefully did enough testing to realize that specific axle (the passenger side front) needed the extra flexability in the inner joint to not fail. These will get installed in a few days, hopefully the last time I gotta do this job.
