Im looking to get new struts to go with lowering springs. Does this look like a good deal or can I find them cheaper? And does this look like all I would need? KYB 4 Struts Pontiac Grand Prix 04 05 06 07 | eBay

I paid 242 shipped from rockauto for 97-03 struts.

I would think they would be close to that for 04+ on their site too.

They ride decent, but kinda bouncy when going in dips and such in the road. Though not every car will do that.

Thanks for the input. I have a base gp so I doubt they could ride worse than my worn out struts on that.

Hey, thanks for the link. Just to double check, those should work fine and last a good distance on ssc lowering springs right?

Seems to be the choice of quite a few people. When I replace mine I'll go with the stock FE3s just because I'm used to them. If I was to use anything else it would be those. The KYBs get a lot of favorable reviews.

They will last a while, a few years atleast.

There lifetime will depend on where you drive and type of driving. Just bumming along on the freeway as a daily driver and they will see a few miles.

I only drive about 200 miles a week at most and they are mostly highway, so I hope they last a while.
