I've looked everywhere on abs posts and some things are similar to what I have going on. I have a 97 gp n/a and everytime I start the car it goes through the normal abs checking and the abs, trac off, and check tire pressure come on. Both front hub/bearings are new. We have ohmed the harness down to the hub for any breaks anywhere as I read that on here and everything was good with those. I scanned the car and got a list of codes.
C1276 LF Solendoid circuit open/short to ground
C1278 RF Solendoid circuit open/short to ground
C1291 Open brake switch during decelleration
C1221 LF Wheel Speed Input equals zero
C1225 LF Excessive Wheels Speed Variation
C1226 RF Excessive Wheels Speed Variation
C1232 LF Wheel Speed Sensor Ciruit open/shorted
C1233 RF Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit open/shorted
C1253 RF Channel Input Release Too Long

Now I read that the abs module can go bad but if your not getting any codes it bad. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks guys

I feel like running the check and then failing is the EBCM as well, instead of a wiring issue or bad bearing. Rebuilds are something around $150. Unless... unless you put on bearings without the ABS bits on them. They come both with and without the ABS parts. Make sure you didn't put the wrong bearings on.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Ok that's what I figured. I've looked on module masters for the GPS and they start at 98..that's figures. I do have the correct bearings in it. Now the ebcm is on the mc on drivers side but what does it look like? Is it black with one big connector going to it?

I had to do more searching on google, couldn't find anything for 97 on here for where the ebcm is. It under the dash on the drivers side on the left side of the steering column. Wicked easy to get at. I found a new reman on rock auto, total was 90 bucks, wholesale closeout. The regular price was 130. I ordered it up so hopefully no more abs lights on in my face. Thanks for the help

There's no chance you confused a Body Control Module for the Electronic Brake Control Module, eh? BCM in the dash, EBCM in the bay.

You can identify it by shape here: ModuleMaster | All Modules

Or post a photo so we can help you.

    Yeah. There's no difference.

On a 97 that's where it is under the dash by the column. I have nothing under the hood by the strut tower with 2 plugs going to it. And the ebcm has one 8 pin connector and one 24 pin connector right? If so then thats where they are on a 97. And the link spazz posted is the same thing I ordered. I'm guessing not many people on here have 97's?

Edit: Also the bcm is right in front of the ebcm on my car. The part number for the ebcm is 16246621

Got the new ebcm in and it fixed the problem. All lights were out for about 8 miles. I scanned it again and instead of a dozen codes I now only have one. C1233- RF Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Open/Shorted. Could there be something wrong with the hub or wiring even though I ohmed it?
