Thread: GXP rear caliper question

are the 2005 grand prix GXP rear calipers the same as a 2005 grand prix? I am asking because some guy has a set but he says the gxp and grand prixs use the same caliper rotor and bracket, someone else said all grand prixs in 2005 were gxp ps help.

No sir, 05 V6 Grand Prix does not use the same e-brake as the GXP or 97-03. The GXP rears will bolt on to the 97-03 using the caliper, bracket, and rotor. To use GXP brakes on a 04-08 non GXP, you will need GXP or 97-03 rear spindles.

I have GXP rears on my 2000 GTP. Just used the GXP calipers, bracket, hardware, rotors, and new brake lines.

Yeah, I was browsing Ebay today, and found some fronts. Have you tried car-part.com? Might find them pretty cheap.

Found a right rear for $25. You would have to call to see if they have the left...lol
