I installed ZZP's lowering springs and KYB excel-g struts a while back and I absolutely hate the springs. They're not low enough at all especially the rear which sits ridiculously high. I'm probably gonna swap them out soon and I was hoping to get some feedback from people who run other setups.

I've seen examples of other springs but I want feedback not pictures.

    I don't wanna buy coils...yet. Don't have the funds.

I wanna SWAP springs so let me know what you guys think!

    Thanks d00ds.

Here's a picture to reference the current ride height:

SSC will give you a 1.7" drop all around.

Eibach Pro Kit lowers 1.0 - 1.5" which is nothing better than what you have.

    Eibach Sportline lowers 1.7 - 2.3"

Intrax is about the lowest you can go on springs.

    '08 G8 GT - 6.7L 408CI Stroker, 239/254 Cam, Fast Intake, 102mm TB, CAI, Full Exhaust.

I was leaning towards Eibach...not exactly sure yet. And those advertised drops aren't really accurate as far as I understand right? Usually it's quite a bit lower when they're actually installed.

Yup they drop a bit more then what they advertise. That would be your next best option.

B&G will also be a decent choice, but i'd push you towards eibach. eibach springs are going to be progressive, so on lighter bumps and loads they'll feel softer, but get progressively more stiff the harder you push them.

So Eibach > than both Intrax and B&G? I'm curious to this as well seeing as the SSC's aren't really doing it for me.

intrax are gonna be lower, but you'll never find a set.

B&G are gonna have similar drop compared to eibach, but are not progressive.

So the Eibach sport kit for the win?

where are you guys seeing sportline versus pro kit?

pretty sure they only make one spring for our car: the pro kit.

I saw Dand00d posted that so I assumed t'was legit. Apparently not. I guess if Intrax is hard as a b**** to find, SSC will have to do :/

    Eibach sportline*

You put the two together. Eibach Pro Kit + Sportline = Sport Kit. Lol

only a pro-kit is available, i just looked it up.

advertised drop rates of 1.0/1.0, which we all know is wrong. they'll do something like 2.5/2.0.
