I need new pads for my 04 grand prix. Im not the best at working on cars so im looking for a little advice. Can i change the pads without taking off the caliper? I used to have a ford taurus, and there were 2 12 mm bolts that you could loosen and the bracket itself would come off so you could change easily. Is this the same way for my GP?

Good way to start. You'll save yourself alot of money. Get a good repair manual and just buy tools as you need them. Before you know it, you will have everything you need...
