Hey everyone, longtime lurker first time poster!

I am really having trouble finding info on this but I am in need of a brake caliper for my 2008 base model. It is fully loaded (for the life of me, cannot find the window sticker) with the polished aluminum 16's, dual exhaust, etc. so I am GUESSING it is the sport package. Having said that, I am seeing online that there are calipers for the base model as well as calipers for the sport package that are both different to each other. Any input as to how to find out for sure which "package" I have? Can I call GM with my VIN number?

    Thanks
    Brandon

So is it safe to say that is just a base model then? What would be the best way to find this out? Wondering if you can call GM with the VIN and they can give you the info.

If you have 16in rims, then its a base.

The "sport" calipers need 17's or bigger to fit.
