Not like our wbody's take corners anyway....but you know that. I personally would rather have bags assuming the ride won't be unstable as hell. It'll be softer, that's for sure. But without the strut being used I can't see it being all that stable.

it'll be 'wobbly' in corners, but not completely uncontrollable.

wobbly in the corners? umm raise the air pressure? Seems pretty simple

My bags ride pretty stiff and raising the air pressure doesnt really mean more stability. It really means just a stiffer ride and it makes it bouncy because you arent using the dampening of the struts really at all after a certain point. So i'd imagine this to be bouncy at whatever air pressure and not really comparable to coils at all without the strut there to stabilize everything

What about putting in the "drop in struts" everyone talks about when doing home made coil overs?

Did you figure out a method to keep the strut intact for damping?

I'm going the same route BUT I found the right bags for this it allows the shaft or what ever it is to go through the bag, de pressurized the strut weld bag mount to strut, slide the bag down and that's as far as I have got in my head lmao... Still r and d stage

The bags are 160 a piece, and use universal air strut mounts, hell 600 to 800 plus if I find deals on tank, switches, compressor and valves you cud still b way under 1700 or more for the kit

Yea..."Air House 2" By Universal Air, Universal Air Suspension. I know they say McPherson struts but it also shows the mounts universal as long as the strut tube is no bigger than 2 1/4.... I'm not 100% sure it will work or not, lmk what u come up with close to same cost but gives option to do it piece by piece, suicide doors.com here in indiana have some struts I think lmk bro
