    I found these caster/camber plates.

    http://www.overkillengineeringmotors...om/frcapl.html

I forgot that these were made but I can't find any info on them or even if anyone has bought them. I'm not sure why it says that they're 93-98 W-bodies but I was thinking of looking into them for my coils whenever I get them instead of modifying the stock mounts. Reason because I can. Thoughts? Or anyone got any dirt on them?

seen them before, too. also have not heard of anyone owning them.

if they arent exactly what you need, they've gotta be damn close. so long as it accepts the correct strut rod diameter, the strut rod nut, and has the right spring perch i see no reason why these wouldnt work.

it's nice that caster is adjustable, but most people don't even know how to use caster...

Hell I think they're made to fit Koni in retrofits like mine. I'll have to dig on the 1st gen boards to see if anyone's bought them, but don't the 1st gens have a different mount? I'm not really concerned with caster, that pretty much affects steering response right?

you can also select OEM/KYB fitment.

the rear pillow ball mounts (same as front, no adjustment) sounds pretty ideal, too.

I might have to get those as well one day. I wonder how exactly they bolt up though, through bolt probably.

Those were made for use with custom built front coil overs designed for 1g w-bodys. some people on w-body.com are running them I have heard that the didn't hold up to well

I found some threads about OEM on some Nissan forums and nobody is real happy with the. Real bad customer service and parts aren't built right. I was kind of sketchy about the design, thanks for the heads up about durability.

Back to square one on the camber plates. Looks like they'll be custom now if I go that far.

I was looking at finding another car for the front coilovers; shouldn't be too bad to find something

    Maxima's are damn close.

    The rears would be harder

I've been thinking of that as well. I was thinking about going to the JY and see how other car's mounts are compared to ours. Even if we only had to enlarge some holes a small amount it would be worth it.

I saw that some Cobalt guys drilled new mounting holes to use VW mounts but I'm not going to do that.

They were designed by a member on w-body named bxx he made a couple prototypes of much better quality I'd go search for his coil over thread if I remember correctly he used 2g mounts modified for a 1g to make them
