Hello, i am new here to this website and i definitely have learned a lot of good information. i Own a 2007 grand prix GXP. i replaced the rear passenger side hub assembly as it was making a lot of vibration noise. i have now a pretty good clunk on that side when going over bumps. i believe i didnt tighten the hub down enough. witch leads to my question what are the torque specs for the 4 bolts that mount the hub assembly. does anyone know? i know the clunking cant be from the struts or strut mounts as those are all brand spanking new. i checked stabilizer links and trailing arm seems tight to me.

someone please let me know what you think or what the torque specs are
    thank you

The fronts are 92ftlbs, so the rear should be similar. Just get them all reasonably tight, it's not an area where torque spec is critical.

Hmmm...ok I'll check if it's torqued correctly. I hit them with a impact so I can't see why it would be loose and make a clunking noise going over bumps

Never trust an impact. After you hit them, always go back with socket and wrench.... cheater bar if needed. Don't have to be so damn tight it busts the bolt, but tight.

Ok well definetly not 92 ft pounds. I snapped 2 bolts. And then found a repair manual and it's 50 ft pounds. I'm just going to take it to the dealer cuz idk wtf is wrong

Umm yeah, the wheel bearing bolts that hold it to the knuckle are not 92 ft lbs LOLOL

A quick blap with your impact was good enough.

I would replace the sway links, they may feel tight, but can still cause the clunking. Also try what the person above said about the e-brake cable.
