    Hey guys doing my install of ssc/fe3 combo and just quick couple questions.

    I have been roughly following this tutorial:

    Grand Prix Net: Installing Aftermarket Springs and Struts


    1)

    This tutorial does not mention an extra tie rod type bar that is attached at the front strut then to another arm. All it says is the 2 big bolts on the strut and yesterday I did one front and just unbolted this extra arm peice and installed it back to new strut. the piece has ball joints it looks like on each end.

    I'm assuming I have to attach this peice back and not leave it off? The tutorial doesn't have this peiece for some reason.

    Mine is a comp g maybe that is why?

    2)

    For the anti pogo washers how much threads should i leave on the top big 21 mm strut nut? Should I torque it as much as I can? The zzp pogo washers I got I have don't sit nearly as good as the stock ones. The zzp ones show less thread since they sit higher.

    Any input is good thanks

    1) those are your sway bar links, they are like that on ALL 04+
    2)pretty tight

    Only 04-05 is that way, years after went back to 97-03 style lca/sway link.
