    Got me some new LCA's & now of course the problems start

    Front sway bar link, nut removed from top and link can move side to side easily. I am beating on it downwards but no luck - is that the right method?
    Out tie rod, nut all the way to the bottom now the nut and "bolt" spin together. What do I do? Start grinding the $hit outta things?

    The endlinks are easier to replace then try to save. the tierod has a spot on the bottom that a 8mm? goes on so you need an 18mm on the nut and a 8mm? on the bottom spot

    I have new endlinks, I tried the 8mm vs the 18mm but it is getting very tight. Feels like it is going to break. So if the answer is summon the powers of chuck norris & roundhouse kick everything in the wheel well I will. Plus I can't get the castle nut out because the ball joint wont drop. wtf I don't wanna roundhouse that too.

    I had to cut my ball joint off. Why are you messing with the tierod? It doesn't need to come off at all.

    Because mine does need to come off, I am replacing LCA's, sway bar endlinks & outer tie rod ends.
    Did you cut between the knuckle & ball joint bottom or but the threaded part?

    I cut the nut off the top. If you're replacing the tierod anyway just cut off the bottom of it. I usually just cut them off if they give me any trouble at all.

    Is it a good idea to put antiseize on any to prevent future problems?

    You are suppose to crack the jam nut loose before you unbolt the whole tie rod from the knuckle. Then spin the tie rod off and count the turns.

    Did you do it that way?

    I leave the jam nut on there and spin the tie rod up to it when I put it back on.

    i also reuse the old jam nut, that way i just put the new tie rod back to the jam nut and tighten it. less guess work for the trip to the alignment shop. last guy said if i was any closer, he'd be out of a job lol and that was after i swapped the rack lol

    Yeah i left old one on didnt look great but it works. I cant seem to get tie rod end out of knuckle. I cut it in half but it wont pound out downwards. More cutting i guess?

    once the nut is off the end that goes through the knuckle, you hit the flat spot of the knuckle with a hammer, the joint will pop.

    you have to push it up not down it's tapered
