Thread: Torque rating for tie rod ends ?

Is there a torque setting that the castle nut on a tie rod should be ?

yeah tight lol

i have no idea if there is a spec for them, never torqued one in my life. just make them tight, line up the hole so the cotter pin slides in, done deal.

I'm with Scott, I give them a zap to make them tight and line up the pin.

Thats what i assumed, My OCD must be kicking in. lol
