Ever since i bought my grand prix, the ABS and TCS lights are on. The ABS works fine but the TCS is stuck in the off position. I was just wndering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to fix it.

Its fine for now but i dont now if it will make it through snow that easily when the time comes

If the lights are on there's probably a code. Get it scanned.

Thats going to be my last option, those places charge soo much money to fix a problem that i could fix with my eyes closed.

chances are you have a bad hub or bad wire harness.

having abs code scanned usually cost a few bucks at a shop. so before you go down that road, free stuff to check, is to inspect the abs wire harness along the lca, un plug the hub/abs sensor and clean and grease the plugs. also jack the car up and check each hub for excessive play. leave the wheel lugs on and tight. grab the tire at the 12 and 6 o clock areas and see it has any movement, if so that hub could be bad. and causing the sensor to set the light.

i will deffinatly check that out. The last time i had my car at the shop they did say i needed a left front berrings and possibly a new hub so that might be the problem.

They are the same part. Don't skimp due to price. If you get a cheap one the light will be back in 6 months.

i just did a front one last weekend, if you can do your brakes you can do a hub.
