Machine shop would probably cost just a much, if not more, to drill them for you than it would cost just to buy them that way, and I wouldn't risk drilling them yourself and getting fractures.
I agree with Street Wolf as to the cost of a machine shop doing the work.
Fractures happen with drilled rotors, prolly more likely if you drill them yourself due to incompetent equipment. If you want to drill them yourself keep in mind that the holes need to be symmetrical and you need to avoid the vanes.
Also keep in mind that if you buy drilled rotors the holes will have the same protective Zinc Coating as the rest of the rotor helping to prevent rust.
I would suggest buying them.
Just go with a good set of R1's or something along that line and save the time and hassel and have the quality all but garunteed to be 100% correct the first time out.
