I'm looking to purchase a set of these for my 02 GTP. My question is how do these handle excess weight. A little more info... occasionally my wife will come home with (the trunk and back seat filled with cedar mulch, or the trunk completely filled with bricks, or things of that nature.) I would hate to spend the money on them if they are not able to handle those types of things once and a while.

Anything you could sharer would be appreciated.

That would be nice. I'm starting to look around for a cheap truck for those kind of things.

    Google agx.

Some love them. Some have them wear out in an unreasonably short period of time.

Its both the springs and struts that need to be up to the job as well you need to abide by the GVWR otherwise you're putting the whole vehicle at a level of stress it was not designed for.

This. The AGX's won't do you any better with all of that weight that you are talking about.
