Damn that's nuts, esp. if the casting was the only thing to get completely blizted by that.

Did you leave the cradle alone or loosen the back 2 bolts ive done both a regal and a gp with the cradle left alone but the swaybar out the hardest part was getting the new one wiggled through all the way. Good see its done!
sway bars are tricky, aint they, need a twist and a turn and slide, make sure all is clear, then continue.
i pulled mine out when i did my rack because it was broken. replaced it 3 months later. no sway bar= chit handling car for sure.
and dropping the cradle makes life easy to remove the sway bar bushing bolts. and a few more inches to give birth to the rack as it come out.
i dropped the cradle and took the sway out and give birth is definitely the correct term to use
