Just bought a '99 GTP with 145k on the clock and it's still on stock struts. I'm thinking of going with AGX's but using the stock springs. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this setup and what the handling and ride is like with it.

Not a lot of help from me, as I haven't done what you've asked. You could consider the DNA motoring springs which feature a small drop and cost about $100. Just throwing that out FYI.

I run this config as the car is low enough stock. Works pretty good.

You want the right shock rate for your spring rate.

Too high and too low aren't good for handling.

I have to agree with Bio on this one. If you are going to keep stock springs then just stick with the GR2's/Excel G's.
