Ok guys I've been trying to track down what is causing my car to shake.. so far I've replaced outer tie rods ball joints and the drivers side cv axle. The shaking seems to get worse when the engine is under load. I noticed yesterday when I had a car full of people that it is ten times worse.. especially when going up a hill. You can feel it in the whole chassis and the steering wheel.. I don't know what else it could be.. possibly a bent rim? Now my abs and trac light are on and the code says the front passenger speed sensor so the wheel hub must be going bad? Anybody ever have any of the problems I'm describing?

lowered? either way check your engine and tranny mounts. when they fail the axle geometry is off and causes vibrations.

The Hub/Bearings can cause that yes... but I'm not saying that's what it is, lol.

Yes, I just had this issue and it was the front tires. Once I replaced them all vibrations stopped. Maybe have the balance checked on your front tires.

You didn't mention this in your original post...

So, then to dissect the problem, was there any vibration PRIOR to getting the new tires? Weights put onto the wheels for balancing do come off sometimes and also there are times the person balancing them really don't do a good job. If the vibration started AFTER getting the tires I would go back there and have them re-balance them pronto! But with the TCS/ABS light coming on, there's definitely something going on at the wheel/hub, check and make sure the connector/wire for ABS is attached to the hub as well, who knows, maybe it was dislodged when they installed tires?

    Just trying to give $.02

Ok lol. The vibration has been there before the new tires.. I do have a p1811 code so with the tranny shifting hard it could be putting more stress on the mounts when shifting..

Does the vibration seem worse when turning to the right or when accelerating over 60mph? I have had this problem with my car for 3 months now and have replaced the tierod ends the passanger motor mount and still have the problem. I have read up on this problem on many other forums. Everyone says its the cv axels but mine have no play in them. The cv axel is loose in the transmission tho so there may be a bad bearing or thrust washer in the transmission.
