What are the best drop in strut assemblies for the rear on a '98 GP? Preferably under $160 for the pair.

I have 2 KYB GR-2 for the front, just need springs for those. Best springs for the price?

Also where is the best place to order strut mounts?

    Thanks.

If you find a drop in strut assembly, its going to have the strut mounts. If you are just buying a strut, and swapping your coils and a new strut mount, then that is something different.

Honestly, the best price I found when I bought GR2's for my Stealth many moons ago was Summitt Racing.

    I need 2 strut mounts because I have 2 GR-2 plain struts. I also need coils/springs for these 2.

I don't think you can get 2 GR2 drop ins for under $160, looking for the best cheap ones.

Ok fine, what are the best of these: Monroe Econo-matic, LeaCree, or Raybestos?

That is easily $300 for drop ins though, right?

If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason why you're looking for drop in's? I assume it's just for ease of replacing it on your own and saving money vs. going to a shop?

It seems like Drop ins are easier and cheaper. I have 2 GR-2 plain old struts for the front, but I still need to get coils and mounts etc for those, it seems like its gonna cost more and be a pain in the ass.

I looked up some stuff on raybestos and it seems to be a pretty good brand.

Agreed. It's not hard to transfer your springs over to the new set of struts.
