    Hardly worth making a thread.

    Ordered new rebuilt LS1 calipers. Not sure what they will arrive as appearance wise.

    Thinking of putting trans am decals on them.

    Originally wanted "corvette" text, but didn't want to taint/defile/corrupt/disrespect the corvette name by putting it on a GP.

    Trans Am's aren't too much more respected than GPs so this is more suitable.

    Opinion?

    Do corvette. It makes it look more like an expensive part.

    Not Brembo. I'm not faking what I have. C5 calipers ~ LS1 Calipers.

    Drunkie has C6 calipers.

    C5 =/= LS1 F body.

    So which are they?

    ^ F-body, just as I originally said. They are ~ equal, just as I formerly said.

    Approximately equal calipers. Body is probably the same casting. Yes I know about the pistons.

    Edits: Not the same cast. What I meant is same exterior dimensions.

    I wouldn't put T/A on there, let alone Corvette.

    They are corvette calipers that have larger pistons (I.E. the SAME cast was reamed slightly further for larger pistons). Also a different part #.

    Blue, if somebody transplanted an LS7 into a 69 Z28, would you refuse to drive it because it says corvette on the engine cover?
