    im in my swap and i have the 98 Z's L36 and high pressure power steering line. im trying to get it screwed into the rack.

    the rack is my original 96 Z34 and the l36 and HP line came out of the 98 Z34

    here is a pic from autozone's website they look the same at where the HP an LP lines go in... is there any chance they changed the threads? according to the description,they are: the same inlet and outlet sizes in: 18mmx1.5 and out: 16mmx1.5

    Not sure if they changed threads or not. But I know those can be a pain to get in. You have to have them lined up just perfectly. Try moving the line itself around. And I've also found that you need to make sure the line is not pushed in too far. I will push it in all the way, then pull it back out a little bit and wiggle it around with one hand while I screw the threads in with the other hand.

    ah!!! :lightbulb: i was pushing the line in all the way while turning! you daman! will try it tomorrow when i have access to those line wrench's...
