I bought both NAPA solid mounts, but had to return the solid engine mount and buy a solid one from Advance cause the NAPA mount was too short. So be careful.

    Zef,

I bought both Napa Solid mounts for my car too, I noticed my motor sits lower on one side and the mount is indeed shorter. What brand does Advanced sell? Is it solid? Does it have a warranty? And i assume its the correct height? let me know, Thanks!

Not sure what brand it is. I didn't really look into it. I bought the NAPA one, installed it, and the motor didn't sit right. So I took it back, tried a second one, took that back, measured every one they had in stock, and they were all too short. So I was in a bind, went to Advance, and bought what they had because it was closer to the right height. Still didn't sit level. I had to add 3/16" washer to make it sit level.

If I had to do it again, I would get a used mount from Ed. Those are for sure the right height.

As far as the difference between solid and the stock hydraulic mount, there isn't much. Only difference is that the stock hydraulic mount has oil in it. The solid mounts they sell are just hydraulic mounts without oil in them. I remember seeing someone on clubgp cut apart brand new ones to show this.

Yeah, i ended up spacing my Napa mounts too. I'm seriously thinking about getting GM OEM motor and tranny mounts and trying again. I can get them at cost, even then there pricey though. Oh well, with 0 issues it would be worth it...
