Okay Im looking at doing brakes on my 2005 Grand Prix SE. Which is my daily driver and is winter driven - in Michigan.

Any how I really love the factory Drilled Brakes on my GXP. I was curious what you guys would recommend for my SE? Are Drilled/Slotted rotors fine in the winter? I was looking at a set from BrakeMotive or R1Concepts or would just factory OEM's be better in the snow/ice?

Do you have a personal preference or experience in the winter? My GXP has never seen winter so I don't know how the drilled rotors would perform in the winter/snow/ice.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    plain.

slotted and drilled can corrode in the holes in the surface then cause noise.

Drilled are gimicks and are prone to cracking. Full face, OEM style rotors are the way to go.
