what can i do about the sag in the back
|
how many miles? only way is to get new springs.
3 chicks in the back...I like the cut of you jib kid
Nice Lenny, those are some pretty good odds.
Kinda like having a date with 3 chicks and their gay friend there is a 100% chance you get laid but a 25% chance your not gonna like it.
Rear intrigue springs raise the rear of the car. The springs are also progressive.
springs that have 150,000 miles on them are generally pretty weak. I would replace the struts and springs all together. They do sell quick struts (they're already together so you can just take the old out and put the new ones in ) Also as long as you're replacing the rears I suggest you replace the fronts as well.
When I worked in the shop and even went for my ASE stuff they recommended springs/struts be replaced every 50-60 thousand miles since they travel up and down millions of times.
I had that sag to the rear as well. Went to the bone yard, saw some low mileage rear rotors (the resurface marks could still be seen) and pads on an Olds Intrigue that led me to the struts and springs. Put the parts on the GP this past weekend, no more sag, even with a trunk full of various tools and a hydraulic jack. Great find....can't beat $15 for a rear brake job.
