My lil brother has a GT w/ 180k miles and still has stock suspension. I know it will need new struts but do I need to get springs? As well I will probably pick up some new sway bars (GMPP suspension kit). I noticed that ZZP has OEM struts that are inexpensive. What other parts would you all recommend me picking up along w/ the struts? We are not looking for any performance here just something to get us from point A to B.

I think its going to need tie rods and ball joints as well.

I just did all of mine this past spring, your going to need the whole shibang, the easiest way to do this would be to buy the monroe quick struts from rock auto.com, These come fully assembled with everything you need, and can be installed relatively easily with hand tools. they also have really good prices on tie rod ends and ball joints. but while you have everything apart I would suggest changing the wheel hubs and control arm bushing,(the one in the front of the arm that has a vertical bolt through it) I would also suggest using greasable energy suspension bushings, for your swaybar kit, they work in the rear as well you just need to drill a 2nd hole. energy suspension endlinks in the front and MOOG greasable endlinks in the rear, just make sure you grease up everything every oil change and you wont be dissapointed!!

We actually went to Ed Morad and got strut assemblies for front and rear for $250 shipped. They were used w/ about 30k miles
