I changed the front brakes on my GP last night and noticed my sway bar was rusting through on the passanger side. Is this something i can fix myself or is going to be a professional job? I am not sure how to upload pics.

Sorry. I can do most of the normal wear item repair or replacement, but have never seen this or have tried to replace it. Do you have an aftermarket reference, or should I go with the stocker for now?

Search on rockauto.com for your year and you'll find it under suspension. Dorman has a good replacement.

Does Rock Auto sell both front and rear? Should I replace the rear?

    1. You won't know until you look. I'm not a rockauto employee and am not looking up your car to give you that info. Sorry..

    2. Is it broken?

    1. I looked after replying. They do not have one.

    2. I did not look last night. I didn't know if it would be best to replace both at the same time.

Around here, its common for the front to be broken.

The rear is less common, but it happens.

    Inspect and replace as necessary.
