What all is different in the 04+ suspension because it's a night and day diffrence taking a corner in our 06 compared to my 02... and I want that feeling in my car lol

Stiffer springs maybe since it's a heavier car? Other than that, in 06 they went back to the "old" suspension (read: they put the front sway bar back on the control arms). So the suspension setup will be identical.

the struts are valved differently so they are more sporty. the springs are fairly well the same.

so are there any struts similar to these I can put on my 02? and I'm starting to think it might be the seats holding me in place that make it seem sportier lol

higher spring rate and some stiffer struts.

Bilstein HD's and vogtlands maintain stock ride height and meet the above.

    But thats expensive.

Wanna go a little lower? try SSC's.

    Wanna go even lower.

    Try ebaichs.

Keep trying different springs to you get the ride you want.

Note going lower sacrifices LCA angles and strut movement.

    You could go for AGX's.

But after hearing too many times that they fail overly quick, I can no longer suggest them.

If you think an 04+ handles well, then I don't want to drive a 97-03. These things handle like boats.

I'm assuming by your post that you've never driven anything that actually does handle, as the saying goes, like its on rails. I miss the feeling of driving a corner carver.

Ha - after driving a 1 year old Toyota Camry, the GP felt like a sports car. The Camry real wallows.
But to your question - I had a 98 GP and still have an 05. They both handle about the same if the struts are in good shape. I had to put struts (KYB GR2s) on the 05 at 70K miles because it started to float. The 98 at 100K didn't do that. But you probably need struts on your 02.

so are struts and springs going to make the biggest diffrence? I'm going to do sways too but Just curious where the most change is noticed. All Iv'e really done to mine handling wise is a front stb and I don't really think it did anything... the last roads to where I'm staying right now were probablly the most fun in the grand prix I've ever had, but I still know this thing dosen't handle that great but it's still a good time in the the twisting up and down mountain roads I couldn't imagine driving a real car through them

Alright... well if you go all out can you even turn a wbody into a great handling car?

Because I started to look at all the stuff you can upgrade and even tho Iv'e heared theres not much handling wise in the w-body aftermarket compared to other cars. Just looking around a little bit you could spend a few grand real quick and I'm sure if I did all that it would make a difference but I'm thinking in the end even if I dumped like 1500 into just handling stuff it would still handle like a grand prix so it might not be worth it... probablly won't stop me tho lol
