So I had both brake lines replaced to the rear of the car after it busted.. after it was repaired my left rear brake was sticking because one time I saw smoke and other times I felt the car bogging down...

So I brought the car in and they replaced the brake hose to the caliper... they said the caliper was fine as they tested it.. now I stil am noticing excessive brake dust on the same wheel plus I think I can still feel it sticking....

    Any idea?

I would get one of those laser thermometer things and shoot the rotor surface right after a good drive and check for abnormally different readings in temps from the known good one to the suspected bad one. Kinda hard to tell if you have a light grabber sometimes other than waiting a few thousand miles to check for wear differences. I've seen on a mid 90's chevy pickup where the rubber hose to the caliper had a little rubber piece sticking out into the hose and it acted as a 1 way valve and held pressure on the brakes for too long til the pressure bled off, but that shouldn't be your problem since that's been replaced. Could be sticking e-brake cable but I wouldn't expect you to see abnormal brake dust from that, it would vent from the backside of the rotor or is usually just trapped inside the rotor.

I know it has to be sticking.. I washed the car yesterday and when I got home from work today the rim was completly covered in brake dust... the other 3 wheels were clean.. do I need a new caliper? I just put them on about 2 years ago..
