Alright guys here is the problem. I have replaced my hubs several times but am not sure whats going on now. When I get on the highway and give it the gas from say 60 to 80 once I reach about 75mph it makes a humming sound. It only does it once reaching about that speed and very neglible if its doing it at any lower speed as its a sudden very noticeable humming at 75 and above and the sound sometimes is constant for several seconds and sometimes its intermittent . I know when hubs go bad turn one way or other and listen for the sound but at low speeds or high speeds I turn it light or hard and cannot recreate the humming so I'm lost right now at what exactly the problem is. I just visually inspected the everything yesterday and no grease leaking or torn boots and no play in the hub that I could notice. Here is another thing I should note and might even need another thread for but I just got a tune and new shift points so from watching my tach it hits right at 6000rpm and when it does that I get a low sounding clunky noise. Could that noise be part of my problem? My trans was just rebuilt about 4 months ago.
current mods: DIY FWI, res & u-bend delete, SD headers mated with custom 3in downpipe, 2.5in catback with turbomax muffler, autolite 104s, 180 t-stat, poly mounts, can tune, 3.4 mps
soon to be mods: NIC cam, possibly dna springs

Engine and trans mount ever replaced?

    Also, try rotating your tires

just got the tires rotated and it didn't make a difference. I'm thinking new mounts may help the clunking sound at wot 1-2 shift. I'm hoping that I didn't do any damage to the cv shafts from that clunking although i've only done it about 4 times as I do not enjoy the sound **** slamming together like that lol
