I am going through the same issue with my '07 GT... Inner rear tires worn down to the steel. Had less than 30k miles on it. The middle and outside as well as the front tires could've probably gone to 40k. The tires hadn't been rotated as often as they should have but this still seems like some sort of rear suspension issue. The rear tires seemed to be angled in at the top too much - riding much harder on the inner wall than on the outer. Again, less than 30k miles on it... I'm very frustrated as to what could have worn this badly already. I got new tires and an alignment. The angle in the rear wheels is still there

Rotating the tires won't fix the problem; you'll just get more time to destroy four tires instead of two. If you think the lean is still there, check to make sure the alignment was done to adjust toe (lean). Some places don't check toe, amazing as that seems. If they don't check toe in, go to another place that's competent.

    Chris07GT,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. “nlinesk8s” offers a good suggestion. If that does not resolve the issue, I recommend consulting with a certified technician for an inspection.

If you need assistance finding a technician near you, please PM me your zip code.

And the question still remains....is this covered under warranty?
