Is that what I said? I thought I asked if anyone had done it, and what their personal experiances were...

I like how you use the term rice like its supposed to be some sort of descriminitory remark towards me. With your logic any mod that requires fabrication or doesn't come from ZZP is rice.

I better not tell you about the 04+ cowl hood I'm working with someone to have made, because its ricey and ZZP doesn't sell it.

seriously cutting springs is just a bad idea. period. even if it is just a half coil, it causes bounce, which changes how the car handles, and more importantly how it handles in an emergency situation.

its oldschool, and makes the car handle like ****.

I could give a rats ass about ZZP or any of the aftermarket vendors. I just know that cutting springs is a horrible idea. I also know the mentality of a poster like yourself. I see it all the time. You are arguing with me because you don't want to beleive its a bad idea.

I've rode in all sorts of cars with all sorts of suspension setups. From cars lowered on lowering springs, to real coilovers, to cheap Ebay coilover sleeves, to cut springs. By far, the cut spring cars rode the worst. And thats saying something because the Ebay coilover sleeves blew the struts out of the one car.

With no insults its a horrid idea. If you wanna drop it, drop it the right way. There's a reason you don't do things the cheap ghetto way. If this logic worked you'd just mill down you stock sc pulley for a boost increase right? 99 percent of the time when you try to cut a corner your car just looks like you cut a corner....which is kinda my def of rice..cheap and not done right

How can you be worried about the quality of anything when you're talking about cutting springs??
