I've put about 2,000 miles on this setup now. And they still stop wonderfully.

One thing I should note, you do need to watch your brake fluid level as the pads wear. The caliper needs more fluid to function then stock...so as the pads wear more fluid will be removed from the reservoir.

Ok it is cool to put some big brakes on the front but what about the back ones? What can I do to fill up my back rims?

I have a set of 18 inch Bullets off of an 05 or newer Mustang they are a 38mm offset has anyone tried to see if this setup fits? Is there any way to measure my setup to see if it will allow these calipers?

If you want to make the rear brakes fill up, you could do the GXP rear brakes, I didn't bother because I had to swap the hubs and I just put new hubs on my rears.

As far as the 18s go, not sure but the offset does seem to be the right offset. I really don't have any measurement numbers I can give you, just what offset the wheels should be in order for these work.

i forget the exact line of reasoning.... but the more "racecar" like your suspension gets, the more front brake bias you need.

Hmmm seen this done to sts and cts non v cars. I have f body setup for my gtp i think ill just keep f body calipers and swap the rotors to 14 inch on my gtp and sts. On cadillac forums they didnt wanna tell what rotors they were using i thank the op for the info, now i gotta figure out what mods i have to do to the brackets.

I just finished doing this upgrade today on my 97 and its a completely different car brake wise. I disassembled and powdercoated the calipers a deep ruby red before I put them on and it looks great. Stops much better than f-bodies. I've got the 18" alcoa gxps as well and they do fit, no issues whatsoever.

    Great writeup OP. Thanks!
