I want to lower my car (medium drop), but I've read that the lowering springs will destroy stock struts. If I replace my stock struts with GR-2's, use Vinnie's spacers, get new strut mounts and anti-pogo washers, will the struts be under a ton of stress, and fail prematurely? I don't really have the money for AGX struts, so I want to keep this as cheap as I can (while keeping a healthy car).

should be fine for around 30-50k miles if you dont continually bottom out the struts.
