Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
I have a set of stock gtp springs in good shape no rust with about 120k on them.
As for my DNA springs they have been on for about a year and about 10k miles on them. No sag and they have stood up well to NYC pot holes. I have bent a few rims and cracked one and the springs are holding perfectly fine.

Mind you the tires on the rims are 245/40-18 if they were 245-45 series tires the wheel well would have less gap.

That looks nice, I just don't want the vibrations and wearing out my brand new struts and other suspension components. Sent you a PM.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
If you go with DNA springs you will need a set of spacers to get the axle geometry right. So there is added cost in that.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
Right, that's why I'm leaning towards getting stock springs. My car is a winter/daily driver so it's more practical going this route.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
Anyone else have a testimonial about these springs that they could share with us?
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
Had mine on since around april i think, put maybe 10 - 15k on them. So far I love and I hate them. I used prime choice struts, and they have settled very low, way lower than i was expecting. They ride great not to rough, and the car feels solid and planted while cruising. I hate them because it leaves me wanting more, honestly the stance they are at now is fairly close to Ebiach height, they make me want coilovers just to go even lower. And the worst thing is, my car has become a snow plow =p
These photos are from October as i haven't taken any recently

Honestly if you want to lower your car, I highly recommend them. I've had no problems with them and they ride wonderfully. The stance is great for what they are as well

I think they are referring to Spacers(Shims) under the trans/engine mounts to fix axle geometry angle. I'm liking the drop I've got from the DNA springs so far.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
I have had mine for a little over a year and cant complain. A very nice drop. Im on stock struts that are blown so I have some crazy pogo :th_bounce-yellow: . But Besides that they are great, especially for the price.

You really need better wheels. Unless you have the ones in your sig as a summer set.
I ordered these springs, see what happens when I spend too much time around GPF, I spend unncessary money on my car LOL.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
they'll drop more on 04+...just sayin..

Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
Going from stock springs to these make it handle better on stock struts? I'm looking for a cheap upgrade until I buy new struts sometime down the road.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
based on the lower center of gravity i'd assume yes.
based on the low spring rates i'd assume no.
pick where you lie in that situation, i suppose.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
I bought new struts when I did mine, so I can't help you. :)
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
I'm thinking I might just go ahead and buy some. They would probably go well with my sways and ta's.
Re: DNA springs... yep i said it
I know you're on a budget, but they don't ride that great. I would have went with SSC if I could do it again, but I'm not changing them.

I think they handle a lot better. It seems my car hugs the road now and my turns are nice n smooth. I don't think they ride bad at all either. No body roll when I turn either. I might be getting some different ones but I haven't made up my mind. I looked at my stance the other day n it looked good lol. But if I do I'll sell you mine if your interested. Also I seen you were going to buy that dudes for 90 shipped or made an offer at least. I ordered mine off ebay for $83
