My 2004 Grand Prix GT is sometimes (maybe 50% of the time) making a high pitched whine at speeds over about 50mph when veering left or going straight. The sound appears to be coming from my rear drivers side wheel. I can stop the sound by veering my steering wheel to the right or by applying the brake. I recently replaced my wheel hub assembly (ABS light) with a Precision Hub Assembly from O'Reilly (Part #: 512357). I'm thinking that there is something wrong with the hub assembly but any thoughts on what is actually going on? Bearing?
