I just bought a 2004 GTP Comp G for the wife, when i bought it it had weak brakes and a leak from the passenger front caliper, I purchased a reman caliper, installed it, bled it (i have done quite a few brake jobs before) and now i have no leak, but the pedal still goes slowly to the floor, so i bled it some more (all 4 wheels), still the same, so i figured the master cylinder, replaced that, bench bled it, then bled it one the car starting at the back, still has the pedal slowly going to the floor, almost like air in the line.

On the front drivers side when it is bled, the fluid comes out forcefully (sprays straigt out until it hits the frame) on the passenger side and rear it does not come out as forcefully, comes straight out about a foot until it starts falling......any suggestions? are these extremely hard to bleed, is there an issue with the abs pump that can cause this?

by the way thanks for info in advance, i cant wait to get this car up and running, mods will be soon to come

    Welcome first of all...

There could be something in the lines that contaminating it. Little piece of dirt or something like that. It did the same **** in our Suburban. Ended up having to take it to a shop, and have them completely drain the whole system.

    Just a thought.

i have already bled the brakes excessively, also let the caliper in question gravity bleed, and it does come out, does not seem to have a blockage.

You haven't noticed any holes in the line or loss of fluid?

You could have air trapped in the abs module, there is a way to bleed it with a scan tool. You need like a snapon modis or tech II to do it.

Do u have the correct side of the caliper? There are left and right side for calipers.Make sure the bleeder valve is facing upwards. If the bleeder valve is facing downward u have the wrong side.

fixed it, bled the abs pump, i guess there was air trapped in there, works fine now, she should be on the road in no time...

now to just get the HUD to work, the up/down is not working, the only way i can see it is too look under the steering wheel up towards the windshield.....

well, first off, check the connection at the switch, then the connection at the HUD under the dash.
Mine did the same thing, granted its an 2002, but the spring came off inside the HUD, so it wouldnt move...

everything works on it, brightness, display, etc....even when you press the up/down switch you can see two arrows come on the display, it just wont move up and down, i am thinking the motor (if that is what moves it) is not working
