I am buying a set of Pre Gens today and i'm putting a 225/55 on so i'm wanting to lower my GP. I was on Ebay today and seen a set of lowering springs, this is the actual auction I was looking at 97-03 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP GT W-BODY SPRINGS LOWERING - eBay (item 170583262415 end time Jan-01-11 15:02:42 PST).

This may sound stupid but i'm not sure what the differance is between these springs and a set of eibachs. If I need to spend the money on eibachs then I will but these are about half the price. So I guess I just need some feedback on what to go with. Thanks!

A few of us have wondered the same thing. Buy em , and let us know the good and bad. As far as tires, go with a 245/50 with pre gens, looks killer. Maybe Bio will speak up here and show ya a pic of his old car. I cant seem to find it lol

I really wanted to buy a set of 245/50's but gonna save up some cash. I actually got a pretty good deal on these tires. So i'm gonna cruise around on these for awhile and then buy a set of the 245's.

based on the drop theyll probably be similar to eibach, but im unsure. i havent really seen anyone with ebay springs so i cant tell you much about them. i like to stick with name brand springs just due to the fact that its a very crucial part of the suspension, but that's just me.

pfffff. ever since i decide to go 245/50 w/ a drop on pregens everyone seems to do it. i dont think we had a member try these ebay springs. i think theyre either gonna have massive ass sag and/or they ride like ****.

I wasn't doing it just because of the pre gens, I was doing it because the tire that I have to go on it is a 55 instead of a 60. So I was wanting to get rid of some of that gap. I have always intended on getting eibachs but I just seen these on ebay when looking for some and was just curious what the differance was.

For the price it probably wouldn't be that bad just to see how they work out.
Personally I am not going to sign up for testing though
